Welcome

The Railway Taverners are based in Crouch End, London N8. We play home matches at North Middlesex and North London Cricket Clubs.

Since the club was founded in 1981, we have always pride ourselves on being a sociable, friendly club, with the emphasis on enjoyment and participation first, and results second.

Our standard of play may have risen a little since the early days, but new players of any standard who appreciate the social aspects of weekend cricket are always welcome.

Anyone thinking about joining us this season feel free to turn up at a game and introduce yourself or email rtcc@blueyonder.co.uk

After many many years netting at Alexandra Park School, for 2012 the Tavs will be holding winter nets in the rather more lavish surroundings of Finchley CC on Monday evenings. 9pm till 10pm starting on 6th February. Places are limited and the price is £6, or a bargain £45 if you book the whole ten sessions in advance. Contact Gugi or our treasurer Tony A for more details.

  • 30th anniversary do - great to see so many Tavs from different eras together on the same day - a cracking day of family fun, hot sun, good-spirited cricket, and the odd beer. Check out pics taken on the day - 30th gallery.

Charity update - our nominated charity QE School in Grenada (curteousy of Tony A), sent email in thanks for money raised, and this update about the building work such donations have helped them to achieve at the Children's Home. Once again, great work by Tony A and family!
